I’m David Wainwright. Since starting my career as a computer games designer in 1985, I’ve worked across television, digital entertainment, business consulting, search marketing and artificial intelligence.

My focus is helping businesses use technology to grow revenue, improve customer experiences and operate more efficiently. I bring the perspective of a founder, marketer and consultant, connecting technical possibilities with commercial priorities.

My journey

  • 1985 — Computer Games Designer: Began my career creating digital entertainment.
  • 1995 — Television Marketing: Launched ten Sky channels, with sales exceeding £30 million.
  • 2005 — Founder, NetPlayTV: Founded the business, followed by an exit to Playtech.
  • 2015 — Business Growth Consultant: Moved into advising businesses on growth and commercial development.
  • 2020 — SEO & Google Ads Consultant: Focused on helping businesses improve visibility and attract customers online.
  • 2025 — Founder, AI Agents Consultancy: Established a consultancy focused on applying AI to business needs.
